Higher education experts QS have produced the ranking entitled Best Student Cities, taking into account factors like student mix, quality of living, employer activity, and affordability. The ranking covers cities across the world and places Stockholm in 27th position, the only Swedish city to make the top 50 list. According to the Best Student Cities Ranking there are around 4,500 international students in Stockholm, which gives a ratio comparable with New York, Washington or Copenhagen.
