The board and the management team

The School of Business is managed by the dean with the support of the deputy dean and the board. The board acts as the link between the school and the Faculty of Social Sciences. One of the tasks of the board is to draw up the budget for the school. The members of the board are elected for a three-year period. The dean and deputy dean are permanent members. The student representatives change every year after the association elections.

Study programme boards
The school has two additional boards:

  • The Education Committee has overall responsibility for our study programmes and courses. The tasks of the Committee includes determining the range of courses on offer at the School and evaluating the quality of the education. Professor Thomas Bay is the chairperson of the committee. 
  • The Research Commitee has overall responsibility for our research and the research study programme. The tasks of the Committee include deciding which courses which will be offered and ensuring the quality of the research study programme. The chairperson of the research board is Professor Jan Löwstedt.
