Andreas receives his award
J.P. Andreas Persson from Stockholm University School of Business received two awards for his performance in the IIBD Case Competition in Hong Kong. The international competition attracted 39 participating teams from 11 countries, and the top five teams met in the final in Hong Kong on November 17. Universities from the US, China and Indonesia were represented among the finalists.
Andreas and his teammates represented Hong Kong Baptist University where Andreas is currently studying as part of the School of Business’ Dual Degree Programme. Andreas' team demonstrated excellent ability and talent in the analysis of a real business case related to ‘corporate sustainability’ and was awarded the bronze price. Andreas was also named Best Presenter for his outstanding presentation of the team’s solutions to the Panel of Judges.
- The process, the experience, the struggle, the hard-won lessons, these are the ends in themselves, but to get an award or two is of course a plus, says Andreas.
-We were very pleased to receive the bronze price and I felt that I represented Stockholm University in a good way by also being named Best Presenter. It was an honour that was made possible by Stockholm University School of Business’ excellent partner relations. The School works hard to create international opportunities for its students, and I must emphasise the importance of such experiences, Andreas continues.
Stockholm University School of Business has signed an agreement with Hong Kong Baptist University that enables the School to offer a selected group of students from the master programmes in Consumer and Business Marketing and Management Studies the unique opportunity to combine their master studies in Stockholm with a year in Hong Kong. After finishing the programme in two and a half years, enrolled students are awarded a dual degree- one MSc from Stockholm University and one MBA from Hong Kong Baptist University.
- To participate in the Dual Degree Programme is a unique opportunity which prepares you for a future career in business. The MBA programme at Hong Kong Baptist University is perfect for students looking for a challenge. It is demanding but also very rewarding and it offers you the opportunity to get valuable insight into the constantly expanding Chinese market.
